1. You starve yourself
Cutting to many calories from your diet causes your body to go into starvation mode and it will start storing calories rather than burning them.
2. You eat to fast
Did you know it takes about 15-20 minutes for your brain to process what's going on in that gut of yours. So slow it down even if your in a speedy hurry.
3. You haven't vanquished carb cravings
The strategy of eliminating fast absorbing carb is no easy task and hard to maintain especially if you don't replace those bad carbs for good carbs. Your body craves carbs so give in by giving it fiber rich carbs.
4. You dont like to cook
On average people consume 500 more calories a day just from eating out from eating at home, those calories can add up fast especially since 1lb of fat is 3500 calories. Start enjoying food and make it fun cook at home and stay off the sofa and out the Mc Donald's.
5. You reward yourself disproportionally
You started working out and dropped a few pounds and you feel pretty damn good about things. So you reward yourself with a meat lovers pizza and a pitcher of beer,,, well sorry to be the bearer of bad news but it doesn't work that way. You have to get into a routine that become second nature in your healthy lifestyle. You wouldn't wash your car then throw mud on it would you?? so why eat clean and exercise then under estimate calories and carbs? tisk tisk
It isn't about completely changing your life. It doesn't work that way for 99% of people so chances are you need to take small steps to improving your health and fitness lifestyle. If you do small things over and over and over and over and over (get the idea?) then they will become second nature.
